Daring stomped a triumphant hoof in the deep rather hot sand. A warm breeze blew Daring's mane partly..it also kicked up a few pieces of sand in her face causing her to close her eyes and shake her head.

Daring had her regular attire on, her jacket and tan pith hat. For she was on another one of her grand adventures. This time Daring was hunting the mysterious Book of Khafka. Only a few ponies know of the book and those that do would argue that the book was destroyed with the great collapse of the San Palomino Shrine.

But Daring isn't going to accept such simple things that haven't even been proved to her. Besides...she needed to know.

And..something that she wasn't used to was happening. She WASN'T alone on this journey. Ever since her encounter with Rainbow Daring has been thinking rather hard about her personality. But the change could wait.

For on this journey Daring had the help of three other ponies. She just hoped they would stay out of her way and keep to what they needed to do.

So the group had traveled out to what seemed like the middle of the Desert..Daring pulled out her map and flattened it with her hooves in the sand as she hunched over to look at it. Once she knew where she was she looked up and smiled.

There was a large rock cluster just a few hundred feet in front of the group. Daring rolled up the map and put it in her bag and turned to the others. "Alright you three. Let's go. We are almost to where we need to go and I don't want any of you falling behind or getting distracted." Her voice was stern but the ending seemed to have a teeny tiny bit of sympathy. Just a little bit.

"Oh? Well keeping from distraction might a bit difficult Miss Doo," says one of the three travelling companions with an amused smile, a grey unicorn with white mane and tail by the name of Mythos Gray who asks with a chuckle, "as how can I keep myself from being distracted when led by such a lovely mare?" The stallion seemed to have a look of amusement on his face, perhaps finding he words amusing or it would perhaps seem he was not taking this as seriously as he should. It was hard to tell.

Mythos was the adventurer’s information and history pony, one that had stepped forward to offer his services and expertise in finding Book of Khafka and unlike many was one of the few ponies to actually take Daring seriously when it came to the idea that the book may still actually exist. He even offered to do it without payment, saying the discovery of an amazing story was all he wanted to find. He had explained and shown his knowledge in ancient history not only of Equestria but of many lands around about, even showing that he was a linguist and understood the very langauge believed was used in the Book of Khafka.

The stallion had shown he was one of confidence and charm, his Canterlot upbringing showing clearly in his words and manner. Yet he was also a more positive example of a unicorn from such a city, being polite and friendly even to ponies not a unicorn like himself. Yet he had one major flaw that Daring had learned very quickly… that he was a terrible flirt and charmer, and though she would not know such Mythos was also notorious as a flankchaser.

Mythos had never worked with Daring Doo before or even meet her, though he did know of her through the books written about this mare of adventure. It was because of this that he had so quickly stepped forward when he heard she was looking for a pony knowledgeable in the Book of Khafka, as he seemed to find her intriguing . It could be asked, how better to learn about the mare behind the books then to travel with her on an adventure?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Golden Dawn on the other hoof kept silent, honestly not much liking the stallion and still uncertain if he had made the right choice in spending his week off from the palace going on an adventure with a mare he thought was a fictional character. Yet Raven Feather, in her quiet way on sneaking about, had heard Daring Doo was looking for those to go with her in finding a book and had thought of him. His friend and fellow guard had said this was a chance for him to have some fun and that the adventurer needed a protector.

Though he had not admitted it, he had looked to prove himself and put his training to the test. It would also probably be more exciting than standing around the palace all day. Yet this had also been the chance to visit his parents in Hollow Shades, but Raven had said she would go and tell them why he would not be there. This brought a different concern, his parents getting the wrong idea between him and Raven and that she was more than a friend. Knowing Raven, she would actually have fun with this and he would have no way of being there to set things straight.

With a sigh the pegasus brought his attention back to Daring Doo and her instructions of not falling behind or getting distracted and Golden answers in a serious tone, “I have offered to guard and protect you Daring Doo, I will not allow such to happen.” Though he hid it well enough Golden was nervous, as he had never been on an adventure and he was still trying to get his mind around the idea that he was being the bodyguard of a pony he had thought was fictional, a mare shown to be the greatest adventurer in Equestria.

It was hot, Very hot to put it Lightly. At the back of the group a Unicorn covered in Tan Desert Traveler Garb trotted in the sands. Her hooves Burned with each step and it was becoming annoying to say the least. She was followed above head by a Flying Pegasus, She too was covered in the same garb as the Unicorn was however hers was adjusted for the use of her wings.

The Unicorn pulled her facemask and hood down, wiping some sweat from her brow and exhaling. Her bright blue coat shined in the light. "I hope that all this will be worth it in the end...." she said to herself Shifting her Pack on her back. Attatched to the side was a Compact Crossbow that the Pegasai above her had Created just for her and now it was one of her favorite keepsakes.

The Pegasai gave a small giggle and landed on the sands next to the Unicorn. " Of course it will all be worth it Frost! Its already making up for it tenfold! We are adventuring with Noneother than Daring Do herself!" She squeed. She Pulled her hood down as well, her Tan coat showing fully as well as her Brown Mane and Emerald eyes. Her face showed a Smile that seemed to stretch ear to ear.

Frost Rolled her eyes and scanned the Area around them. "Always looking to the best of things Eh Dust?" She said keeping her eyes on any possable problems.

"Well of course sister! For what is Life without The best of things?" Dust chirped, she seemed to skip as she moved. Her wings unfirled and She took to the sky once more above Daring.

Frost brushed her Ice cold eyes from the Sand that had befallen them. Letting out a small sigh she blinked. She could remember just two days ago that She and Her sister were Looking for a Small job within a village of the sands. Just something to get them by and aquire enough bits to Leave this Desert. Dustwind Was the one who brought them here in the first place, Her Studies in Equestrian History leading her to drag Frost Into a baren land for Knowledge and History...... Frost didnt care for such studies, however she gave her credit because Her sister was A Curious Filly, Always willing to learn.

It seemed like they wouldnt catch a Break, That was until Daring Came along and asked for A couple Extra hooves in a Adventure, what was even more unbelievable was that she Came to Dustwind with the Idea. Of course Dust would say yes, She knew everything about Historical traps. Why she chose That Criteria in history she couldnt explain.

She Levitated her flash out and sipped from it to wet her Whistle. What was done was done, And Frost took upon herself to help be a Bodyguard. Though Daring didnt seem to need one she Had two, Frost and....what was her name? Golden? At least the job seemed to easy.

"So Daring, Where to now?" she asked alloud.

Dustwind Circled above head, "I dont see anything yet!" She said to the group.

Frost flicked her tail at Dustwind's Squeak, she awaited Daring's Responce.

Daring remained silent as she shuffled her pack around herself. She turned to face the group that was behind her as the first comment was made my Mythos. She gave him a rather blank stare and let out a small sigh. "I'm not lovely. Stay focused."

She never thought of herself as lovely anyways. Besides, she wasn't really the kind of mare that was into the whole love and relationships and what not.

She gave a nod to the guard as he told he would protect her. A rather large smirk appeared on her face and she chuckled a bit. "Trust me, soon as the action starts it will be you that needs the saving." She let out a few more chuckles before turning her attention to the two pegasus sisters that made comments last.

One was flying overhead and Daring had an inkling to tell her to calm down and stick to the ground. But she knew when a pegasus had to fly..seeing as how she had wings of her own.

Daring turned away from Frost and pointed a hoof at the large broken down rock structure the few hundred feet in front of them. The rock structure stood at least a mile high and seemed to be full of nothing. Fall pieces of light brown and tan rocks were all over the places, while one could see where a structure had once been. But it was faint you see.

She kept her hoof stuck on the structure and turned her head to Frost. "Right there."

---------- (Small time skip to just get us up to the broken down structure)

Now that the group was closer to the structure it seemed a lot larger. There were steep parts of the rock, and parts that were easily climbable. But height wouldn't matter for the pegasi, but the others would have a problem.

Daring took in the rocks and pieces of ancient debris as nothing. For she had her fair share of ancient structures..it was mainly what was inside that counted for her.

The mare wiped a bead of sweat from her brow as she scanned the area. She looked high and low for something to stand out but nothing did to her. Or she just wasn't looking hard enough...or in the right places.

"Now..how the..." As she was speaking she was padding her hooves around near a spot where the sand met the rocks. "I feel like there could be..'

But the next area Daring laid her hoof was not solid. In fact half of her hoof slipped into the sand as she was not expecting to find a hole. She let out a small gasp seeing as how it spooked her. She brought her hoof out of the sand hole and sighed for relief. But it was cut short by the rather sudden sinking of a large part of the sand around her. (if you want to say you were near Daring and you fell with her you can. If not you can just slide down.)

Instantly the sand fell and Daring with it. She was then sliding and rolling down a hot sandy trail that seemed to go on for hours. But in reality it only lasted a few seconds.

Daring finally stopped rolling and landed with a thud on a hard sand covered rocky floor. She opened her mouth a coughed a few times but the sand had not settled yet. For most of it was still falling from the newly created hole. Daring had her eyes closed as she sat there coughing in the middle of the rather large dust cloud. She began to wave a hoof in front of her face but it still didn't do much in terms of helping her see. She would just have to wait until the dust settled to get a better view.

Frost had been standing next to Daring when the ground began to Fall. She let out a surprised yelp and attempted to hop back, only to fall forward and tumble in after the Adventurer. Dust scratched her eyes as she bounced and slid giving oomphs and oofs along the way. She then ran into Daring, her face colliding with the back of her head. She flopped to the side gripping her stinging muzzle and groaning. ¨ Oooh a pitfall sand trap! how wonderfull!¨ Dustwind whistled. Her wings let her land softly. ¨Still worth every moment eh Sis?¨ Frost still held her muzzle. ¨yea....worth the pain i suppose too.¨

(Gonna go ahead and skip Scholar.)

Daring started to get up but when she did Frost collided with the back of her head and knocked her down again. This pain she felt was annoying to say the least. It didn't hurt she just could feel it...if that made sense. But she groaned when the mare hit her head and brought up a hoof to rub her head.

Once the dust settled she noticed Frost and Dust were down with her. She coughed a few more times before speaking to the mares. "Well that certainly was fun. You guys aren't too hurt right?"

As she awaited an answer she turned and got up and brushed herself off. Since the dust settled she could finally see where they were at. It seemed they were in an underground type of cave structure. Obviously the cave had been used before for there were old pieces of wood along the walls and a few shelves held burnt out melted candles that were really nothing but piles of dried wax. The room was small and circular and the only light was from the hole the trio fell through.

The only way from the room was a dark pitch black tunnel on the far east side of the tunnel. It was big enough to walk normally through. So Daring searched through her saddlebag and found her fire starter. A rather crude little flint and steel contraption she patched together. She had that in one hoof and walked over to one of the broken pieces of wood. She then picked up the piece of wood and gave it a good look and then looked over to Frost.

Daring walked over to her with the wood sticking out of her saddlebag. She placed the wood on the ground and looked to Frost. "Hope you don't mind but I just need.." She then grabbed hold of some of the cloth on her desert attire and ripped a piece off. It was a rather large piece as well.

Once she had it she wrapped it around the tip of the wood and used her crudely made fire starter to set the cloth on fire. She held the torch in one wrapped hoof and looked to Frost and Dust. "This torch isn't oiled and I have no idea how long this tunnel is. The others can catch up I'm sure. So come on."

Then the mare proceed to make her way through the dark tunnel with only the crimson light of her torch leading the way. She was walking slowly to wait for Frost and Dust.

Frost Had told Daring she was alright, aside from the general pain. Dust wasnt hurt whatsoever so it was quite given that She was fine. The two mares looked around at the cave they resided in.

"Hmm...looks like this isnt Naturally made...No water residue or Rock Corrosion..." Dust examined as she trotted forward through the cave for a moment or two.

Frost Grumbled and moved with Dust, she wasnt sure if she was going to set off another trap so it was best to keep her under par. Daring had come over to Frost and dropped a piece of wood before her. she raised an eyebrow to it and Opened her mouth to speak only to have a piece of her fabric Clothing to be torn off and made into a Torch. She Closed her eyes and sighed, "Its....fine." She Said as she began to follow Daring. Dust followed them both and looked around the dark tunnel. "I can only wonder what This tunnel was used for..." she said softly.

As the trio moved on through the dark tunnel the light from the torch danced around the rocky and dusty walls around them. Daring would every know and then feel a slight whip of heat come near her face as the untamed flame of the torch lashed out. There was no noise through this tunnel..and Daring could not see a light at the end. Maybe the tunnel had turns? Maybe it just never ended. Who knew

But now Daring was back to what Dust asked. She too was now curious at what the tunnel had been for, frankly she was curious at what that circular room had been used for. There was no way it was just some random landmark. But these were only a few pieces to this big puzzle that she was going to solve. That book was in here. She knew it.

As they continued on Daring seemed to keep her gaze in front but really her eyes were all over the place. And she happened to be doing this for a good reason as well for it paid off. Daring stopped the two mares behind her and looked to the rock wall to her left. She held the torch up to the rock and one could see little white paintings of ponies all over the place. They were primitive markings indeed. Daring's eyes seemed to shine as she examined the walls.

"Oh..Dust..Frost this is incredible!"

She started to laugh at her discovery as she moved the torch from this way and that and let the flame go wild. Not only were their primitive pictures of ponies, but of little boxes and houses and..temples maybe? She put a hoof on the rock and gently rubbed one of the markings. It didn't scratch off but instead remained relatively the same. Chalk maybe? Some kind of Paste? Ground up bones? All options here.

As she moved the torch along the rock she came to a very large white portrait of a figure she couldn't identify. The figure was much much larger than the little ponies and seemed to be holding something.

Daring decided to voice her thoughts to Frost and Dust to see if they were interested.  And if they weren't voicing her thoughts would help her determine if this sounded logical or not.

"Frost, Dust. These are primitive markings, obviously. But these..ponies I'm guessing must have lived here in this desert. See here.." She pointed towards a large gathering of small white ponies that were around a few other lines and squares. "Those squares have to be houses, or structures. And those lines are a river. The primitive ponies..But what spikes my interest the most is this figure here." She pointed towards the large one with the small ponies gathered around it. "This figure is obviously projected as being some deity figure...or hero. But it isn't Celestia or Luna. Not the same structure....hmm...maybe we will find out later."

Once done she turned back to start heading down the tunnel. Nothing seemed to be going on in this moment so she decided to strike up some conversation with her companions. She needed to just talk for a  bit, to calm her down.

"So Frost, Dust. I know both of you are probably not as interested in this stuff as I am. Not that anypony should be." She chuckled a bit. "But why don't..both of you..tell me about yourselves. Seems we have quite a bit of tunnel left. And I need to calm down.."

She just asked them to tell her about themselves? The old Daring would have never done that. She probably would have never said a word, let alone bring help.

Frost Looked at the Drawings with a raised eyebrow. She Listened to Daring as she explained what They meant and Such. Dust seemed like a giddy School foal, Her face adorned with the biggest smile it would hold. "Its like a Religious Figure of sorts!" she Squeaked as she Felt the wall with her hoof.

Frost grabbed Dust's Wing and drug her along after Daring as they moved on. Soon dust broke free and flew on her own. She landed on her hooves and Moved with Them in tandem. Daring Began to ask them about themselves. "Kinda Bad to Get connected to Those who may be impaled, crushed or Burned to death in a tomb...But heck you Are being awfully Nice and very Talkative so Sure." Frost Said as she adjusted the Crossbow on her back.

Dust Flew next to Daring and flapped her wings Happily. "Frost and I are sisters! Twins acctually...." She chimed.

"We Were born and raised within Ponyville. Dust Is acctually A third my Own Dna," Frost Said Softly. "My magic Acctually Messed with Mother's Natural status so Technechally Dust And i share a third of our minds..Like twin Connections but more concrete.

Dust Hummed. "We Passed Our Schools courses with flying colors. Frost Had learned her ability to Use Ice magics Very very early and gained her cutiemark With ease...I learned my Ability to build and tinker Things....I Built Frost's compact crossbow and Took up Historical Trap study."

Frost sighed. "Her studies Brought me along, She always wanted to Study Dangerous items and Such. It got Her into Some very Sticky situations...Just simple Crypts with expeditions and such. Then...We ran out of bits and thus our way out of Saddle arabia...."

Dust Shook her head. "I Didnt know That Bits could drain away like Water in a desert! It was all for historical Study!" she defended herself.

"And now we are here....With you, the Amazing Daring do." Frost said softly. She noticed the torch was burning down. She used her magic to take it from The Adventurer. She spun it around to get the flame to burst a little more. "Well looks like our light source is..."

Then it went out...darkness.

"Gone..." Frost mumbled. She threw the stick and Sighed. "Hold on just a moment...." The dark Lit up in a bright blue light. Frost's Horn glew brightly and shimered In a Magical Aura. "There...." she said Standing Right next to Daring. She Looked around. "its spooky in here when its Dark....." Dust whimpered.

Frost Looked to Dust and Frost respectively. "Well we better Make sure the dark doesnt encroach now hmm?" she Said before looking forward and Continuing to trot.

"Very interesting stories, twins with such connections are most rare," says the familiar of a certain, grey unicorn, Mythos appearing with Golden as they came from the path behind. They had gotten separated because of the sand trap and while the scholar wouldn't admit it he had hit his head, knocking himself and and forcing the pegasus stallion that was supposed to be protecting Daring Doo. It took a few minutes but the guard was finally able to get the scholar back to his hooves and they made there way to follow after the three mares.

Golden would turn to the adventurer that had hired him and says with a bow of his head, "My apologizes, there was a delay because of that trap. I hope there was no trouble in my absence?" The stallion seemed honestly worried, as well as annoyed when looking over at Mythos but he didn't say anything to the white unicorn.

It would seem that despite the small accident Mythos has cleaned himself up well and after giving a small nod to the three mares turns his attention to the images on the walls. His focus to given, he would mutter under his breath and seem to spend quite some time on the large figure in that showed prominence. Mythos would also keep an eye out for any sort of writing or glyphs, so that perhaps he could offer translation yet it was not certain he could even if he did.

((I will see too offering more next post, my apologizes))

(Sorry about not doing anything "Exciting" yet. The surprises and what not are coming. Just hold your horses....HA.)

"Ya know Frost the I don't need the attitude."

Daring gave a rather stern look to Frost but it quickly went away as the mares started to tell their story. Then her torch went out..and then the light came back. One of the mares whimpered about it being spooky when it is dark. Daring could only laugh at this statement.

Suddenly she heard two familiar voices. Mythos and Golden seemed to have finally caught up. "Well it's about time you two showed up. And no, nothing bad happened. Everyone is fine."

Daring nodded to her group and then they all continued on. With everyone taking the occasional look at the walls to check for any signs of different symbols or a glyph and what not.

But Daring kept seeing the same old little white pony symbols. They were common but didn't really mean much. Every now and the pictures on the walls would stretch on for a while as to display a story of some kind. One for example depicted a few little ponies finding the river and using it to their whim. It was quite spectacular really.

Though Daring had seen a lot of ancient things and relics in her day, she was still always fascinated by a new discovery.

As the group moved on a certain sound started to grow louder and louder. Daring perked her ears a bit and sure enough the sounds was real. "You all hear that?"

It was the sound of running water. The constant sound grew louder and louder until the group came out of the exit of the tunnel.

The small tunnel exit was being covered by a small waterfall that only provided medium amount of waterfall. But Daring didn't see the waterfall and as she rushed through it part of her coat and mane as well as her pith helmet got a blast of water. She grumbled but it was no big deal anyways.

On the other side of the waterfall, the group was now standing on a rocky ledge high above a rather large room. The water was running off of the ledge and falling all the way down to the bottom of the room, that had rocks sticking from out of the watery depths. The room they were in was rather large and the only light source was coming from the unicorn's magic. But it was projecting off of the water rather well so the room seemed to be slightly lit.

The room was large and oval shaped. With the ledge the group was on ending in a short distance. The ledge hugged the wall but there were scaffoldings and bridges built out of wood and other materials connecting to each other and the rocky ledge all the way down to the bottom. At the bottom of the oval watery hole there was a door, with two torches that were burnt out on either side of the door. The door was made of stone, and a certain type of gemstone it seemed.

Daring instantly knew where to go. Of course it was pretty obvious. But the mare turned to the group of poines. "I uh, don;t know if it was obvious or not.." She pulled her helmet off and let part of her wet mane come loose. But quickly she put her hat back on and hid it. "But we need to get to that door down there. We can walk along the scaffolding, so let's go." With that the mare took the first steps towards making her way down to the bottom level to the door.

Mythos found himself more interested in the white glyphs then it would seem Daring Do was, especially the ones that seemed to offer a small story, as he could not help but stop to study them more closely. It took Golden Dawn grabbing the pony by the tail as he said, "Come, if Daring Do does now feel we should stop then we must move forward."

The unicorn gave complaint as he says to the pegasus, "but I might be able to translate them, I just need a bit of time."

Golden Dawn replies, "You can do such on our return, there are greater concerns... like not getting left behind."

With such the storyteller gave a sigh before letting it go and moving to follow after Daring Do as they travelled on.

Golden was the first to notice the sound of water after the adventurer herself and was able to actually stop himself in time not to run into it.

Mythos, noticing the problem smiles before using his magic to part the water to the rest after Daring Do would not have need of getting wet. On coming next to Daring Do, the stallion would say in soft amusement, "you look very nice with a wet mane, you know that Miss Daring?"

On entering the room and following after the pegasus mare leading them, Golden would consider the scaffoldings and bridges in worry of the stability of such stuctures but it seems they got through without any issue. Mythos on the other hoof just made sure not give reason for their to be instability and walked on confidantly.

On seeing the door and hearing Daring Do's words Golden would move in behind the mare, making sure to be ready just in case the adventurer found herself in trouble, but also made sure to not say that was his intention.

Pyro followed along after Daring as they descended towards a door at the bottom of some scaffolding, his bright red eyes dancing around the room from behind his sunglasses. It was certainly an experience, exploring some ruins. His white coat was dis colored somewhat from all the dirt and such, but he didn't mind getting dirty at all. It seemed he wasn't the only protector though, as there was the pegasus from the guard with the group. Oh well, it wouldn't hurt to have more than one, he supposed.

Why had he even been invited along? He didn't even really have a profession at this point, as pyrotechnics was something he did on the side. Did Daring just want him for his magic? He supposed it was possible, as the only other unicorn was a scholar. He could use his magic for practical purposes as well as for battle. Fire magic actually had a surprising amount of uses outside of fighting. Regardless of why he was there, he would help protect the group as much as he could. He walked along in silence, rubbing back his fiery mane somewhat as he walked, on the lookout for any approaching dangers.

----------------

Flora followed timidly behind the rest of the group, whipping her light green head towards every little sound she heard. To say the least, this place was scaring her. She wasn't even sure why she had agreed to come help with this little expedition. Sure, she could provide medical assistance for most things, and could help with any plants they came across, but she was completely freaked out by this adventure. She should've just stayed home in Filly, working her plant shop. Too late now though, the adventure was underway and she didn't want to leave them without somepony that could help heal them. Steeling herself a bit, and finally poking her eyes most of the way out of her dark green mane, the earth pony florist managed to stop whipping her head around like a scared foal. She continued down the scaffolding with the group, her bags full of various medicinal plants that she knew how to use to help with most any problem she could think of them running into down here.

Daring decided to ignore the comment made by Mythos. She almost made herself stop and turn around and say something to him but her adventurous side thought it best for her to just ignore it and continue on. Still, she wanted to at least say something. Or should she? Wouldn't it be best to just let it die?

She was going to have to deal with this the whole time..

As she was walking along the wooden scaffolding towards the lone door at the bottom of the dripping cave she hit her back left hoof on the wood and there was a sudden loud creak and the board she had her hoof on gave way and snapped.

Daring's wings shot out and she let out a small yelp as she quickly latched onto the much more sturdy part of the scaffolding. When she felt it was secure she brought herself up and back onto the walk-able surface.

She said nothing to the group behind her, as she was sure they were expecting traps and faulty surfaces and the like.

Once the group reached the bottom the large stone door in front of them was firmly closed. The door stood on a small decorated part of solid rock where the scaffolding ended. It had small stones embedded on the walls and the rocky floor around it. It had a simple bronze color and no art drawn on the door. Daring put her hooves on the door to try and push it open but the door stood firm. She let out a disgruntled sigh and backed up from the door. But her luck was with her and one of her back hooves stepped on a not so solid piece of stone and the stone sunk into the ground and the door slowly crept open. It showed another hallway that was lit with torches but, this time the end was clearly seen.

Daring looked back to the group and did a quick head count before looking in front of all of them. "Well, isn't that nice. Mythos."

Her voice was rather firm with that last part.

"I hope you can remember why I asked you come along on this little excursion. And I hope you won't keep getting "distracted". Now then, I have formed my own opinions about the strange symbols along the walls before we entered this cave. I'd like to hear your thoughts on them however."

With that said Daring stood in the doorway and motioned for the group to follow her. "Come on then."
