What are your favorite comics that are currently ongoing? Favorite comics of all time? Which ones make you tear your hair out in fits of rage? Personally I think the new Thor series is totally gangbusters, but I've heard some harsh critique as well. What say you?!

I've been reading comics for a bit over a year now, pretty much since the inception of DC Comics' New 52 reboot. Always wanted to, and with the big reboot, it just seemed like the right opportunity to get into it. I've pretty much stuck entirely on the DC side of the fence, the FiM comics being the only Non DC titles I've added to my list. They just have had a greater number of titles that appealed to me and I also just think I've been more of a DC fan since way back in my childhood (Batman:The Animated Series had such a big place in my childhood).

As far as favorite ongoing monthlies I'm currently following... well, I'm not up to date on everything, but I've learned to expect pretty awesome things from the following series since I started with them: Batwoman,  Demon Knights, Wonder Woman, Batman, Birds of Prey, Supergirl and Justice League Dark. Oh, and ponies. Definitely ponies. Pony comics tend to make me happier than anything else. :D

Ah, it is nice to see a thread like this so quickly.

For classic comics, I read only X-Men.

For webcomics, I read quite a few.  Let's highlight a few:

Weesh: The comic that inspired my avatar and name.  Pure.  Fluffy.  Goodness.

Order of the Stick: adventure comic based on the D&D world.  Very funny.  Epic adventure.

Schlock Mercenary: The best space opera.

I have tons more, but no need to overwhelm you.

Well, actually, one more, because I saw someone with the avatar of the main character of:

Prequel: an Elder Scrolls themed adventure, with audience feedback built into the structure.  The best feedback comic I have discovered thus far.

These, so much these.

Few others, that I'd add

"Girl Genius"

http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/

Awesome mad science and clockpunk/steampunk goodness

"Tales of the Questor"

http://www.rhjunior.com/totq/

Fantasy comic drawing a lot on RL myths but usually with an amusing spin on then, old, old webcomic that is shockingly still ongoing

JACK

No link due to the extreme R-rated nature of the comic, but it's still amazing and philosophical really getting under your skin and making you think

Goblins

http://www.goblinscomic.com/

DND-based comic, starts out rather funny with some mild thought-provoking ideas, then cerberus syndrom sets in and it gets dark and serious, but still great.

Looking for Group

http://www.lfgcomic.com/

A World of Warcraft themed comic, amusing though a bit grim at times

Few others I can think of that deserve mention like Ozzy and Millie (ended), Zebra Girl (severe Cerberus Syndrom kicked in on this one), and there's one more I cant remember the name of involving dragons and other fantasy creatures but it only updates like once a month so I dont think I even kept the bookmark... >.< will look for it sometime though, it's also good.

I've read at least a bit of all of those except for Zebra Girl.

Tales of the Questor, Goblins and Girl Genius are all in my "catch up with it about once a month or so" folder.

Sadly, once a month is too often to check Tales of the Questor.

Batgirl #3, Cassandra Cain, is one of my favorite comic series and superheroes.
