Anyway... Friends Forever #3 thoughts below:

Spoiler

It truly is awesome.

However, for me, it was more vindication than explanatory.  I've been telling people for years that this is what Celestia has been doing.

It seemed clear from as early as the first season.  Which is why it hurts my soul when people interpret it as her being trollish.

I'm not sure it tops CMC/Discord by a huge margin, but it is one of the best comics of any of the four series.  Right now, I'm calling it my all time favorite.

So I finally got the first two arcs of the main series (up to NightRarity) and the first 6 micro series. I loved both of the main series stories. The art was great and the story interesting and felt a bit like fan service. Which I'm usually okay with. Some of the micro series where meh. The twilight one didn't do anything for me and the only ones that left a real impact where Rarity and Pinky Pie.

ah, great!  the art has been quite refreshing.  it's all pretty good, and many different interesting styles.  this is better than just one solid style.   I'd make recommendations about what you should read next, but we clearly have VERY different preferences in MLP comics!

Glad you are enjoying them.

Just read Friends Forever #4 Twilight Sparkle and Shining Armor.

I'm really not sure what to say.

I pretty much really like this one as well. It was pretty interesting, gave some more Crystal Empire backstory, and more Twilight & Shining backstory.

Everything about it was AMAZING IMO.

I hope this trend with the Friends Forever series continues.

:D

The backstory was wonderful, whether it was about Twilight and Shining, or the other guy (to be intentionally cryptic).

But the start was weak...

Well... I guess I'm not reading the comics anymore.

Because it looks like the source I was using to get the comics aren't releasing the comics anymore.

Which also means I've lost pretty much the only thing I had to get through the pony hiatus.

Making this even worse and BS.

Don't tell me to buy them because I don't have the please don't circumvent the profanity filter money to buy them.

I'm sorry to hear that.  You were the only person I knew who read them as they came out, and I'll miss your thoughts on them.

Don't get me wrong... I want to read the comics. I just don't have any alternatives.

If anyone can help me here though... go ahead...

P.S.: I'm still not buying them.

Yeah, $4 is a lot easier to swallow if I'm also lending them to my sister, frostfauna and my best friends's kids.  So, much less value now a days.

Sorry... I'm not rich.

I apologize for the double-post however I have something important to share.

I was mad at my source for quite some time. I had to try to get over it.

I decided to check them again... and... they released the comics.

They'd BETTER not do this again. That's all I have to say about it.

Here's my thoughts on Friends Forever #5:

Stay tuned for my thoughts on Reflections Part 3 once I get around to reading it. Or don't. Whatever.

I've never seen Celestia as a troll, and I knew what she was doing, but I don't fully agree with what was said. I know what the writers were trying to get at (I agree with it, just not the wording), but I just cannot buy it.

Spoiler

IMO because of human error, she exaggerated a bit. I don't think she could have handled the serious things on her own, for various reasons. And the things she could have are probably nowhere near as important as the other things. That's just my personal opinion.

I'm officially annoyed. So I'm going to ask something in this thread. I need help.

If this is against this forums rules or whatever, then either this post will be deleted, I'll get a warning point, or both.

The source I was using to read the comics is dead. They're not releasing the comics anymore.

So... is there someone on this forum nice enough to help me find a place where I can download the MLP Comics, the Main Series and the Friends Forever series for free?

I REALLY don't like torrents. So don't give me those please.

If someone on here would be nice enough to help me with this... I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you.
----------------------------------------------------

I know I'm double posting here, but, hopefully the mods will allow it considering this is a pretty-much-dead forum.

Is anyone on this pretty-much-dead forum still here keeping up with/reading the comics?

Well in the most recent one (Issue #27),
