Blaze heads for the mountains to the west, hoping to gain a raised perspective on the situation. The brush was easy enough to navigate, hardly requiring much more than a few swipes of his blade to clear particularly vexing patches of vegetation. Upon reaching the mountain's slopes Blazes movements went from the graceful steps of the sylvan creatures to the strong and predatory leaps and skitters of the mountain dwellers, and he made like a goat up the rocky cliffs. Mountainous passes, through rooted in stone, are still not without their treachery, and several of the well worn cliffs were more than eager to crumble beneath Blaze's hooves. More than once he was sent tumbling down the mountain like common ruble, forcing him to change his path up the slopes. So scathed he was when he reached the mountain's peak, but all the more rewarding such a venture is from it's dire scenarios.
